problem with winmg.exe
an error report keeps appearing on my computer saying:
winmg.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
It asks for me to send the error report to microsoft and i did but it didnt do anything. The error report started to appear after i have downloaded some things from the internet and my computer started to lag badly (sometimes it froze up). I have ran several virus scan ( MacAfee virus scan ) and it says that there are no viruses. I also ran a system error check and the result were normal. I dont know what to do and i am thinking of rebooting my computer.
Please help.

I'd recommend a second opinion using an online virus scan from here. It sounds like you have a variant of the Gaobot virus. See this.

WOW - I tried the online virus scan and found 25 viruses. There were TROJ DLOADER.E, BKDR BERBEW, WORM KORGO.W, WORM AGOBOT.AK, WORM MSBLAST.E, and couple more.
I managed to delete all of it except for six of the viruses.
I have learn a lesson: McAfee virus scan DONT DO JACK!
