"sqlservr.exe" running in the background

When I check Task Manager I always see the "sqlservr.exe" task running. I tried disabling the SQL Server service from Control Panel but still each time I reboot the mentioned taks starts in the background. How can I remove it so it doesn't start automatically after each reboot? Thanks

You didn't say why you want to stop sqlservr.exe or if you're certain you don't need it.

Click start>run
Type in: services.msc
Click OK

Find sqlservr in the list, double-click it and set Properties to "manual" or "disabled".

Don't blame me if something happens...
