reinstalling windows xp
hi, i have a dimension 2350 and would like to restore it to original configuration... in other words, wipe out everything and reinstall windows xp clean... i have the windows xp reinstallation cd... can i reformat and reinstall from it?how? please help, thanks!

Set the CD-ROM drive as the first boot device in BIOS (instructions here). Restart the system with the XP reinstallation CD in the drive and follow the procedures given here. Delete the C:\ partition at step #5, create a new one from the resulting unpartitioned space, format it with NTFS (Quick Format) and let XP continue installation until complete.
After XP is reinstalled you must install your system drivers, then your applications. Instructions for this are here.
