system 32 folder

Hi,

Everytime I start my computer lately, a pop up window titled "System 32" folder opens.  It says that the contents of this folder contain items that help my system run and I shouldn't change anything in the folder.  I don't want to change anything, I just want the folder to stop popping up when I boot up the computer.  How can I stop this?

Thanks for your help.

Please don't send me questions about your system by DCF Messenger.

Basically, this means you have a blank startup entry, and windows is asking you to tell it to what this entry is referring. To fix this, click start, then run, and type msconfig then press enter or click ok. Click on the "startup" tab. Look for any blank entry that has no information and uncheck them. Click ok, then restart now. Once your computer restarts, the system32 folder should no longer open on startup.
