uninstall

Question

I installed a trial version of Panda Antivirus software and after my trial was over I attempted to uninstall it from the add/remove programs list. But It will not uninstall, infact the panda has returned in spanish intead of english now, my computer lost sound, wiped out my printer, has removed files and many other things ive tried has been unsuccessful due to corrupt or missing files. I attempted to install Norton Antivirus and it wont let me, I ran a virus scan and it claims to be free of any virus?! I am lost as to how to get rid of this panda, i contacted the co. and got the run around, but no solution. could you please help me. i dont want to wipe out my whole system if i dont have too! I own the dimension 4300 tag # csq2411

Not sure how to help you but this is a known problem with no real solution short of a format and reinstall. Try reinstalling this software and then uninstalling it again. You may also want to try uninstalling this software in safe mode.

i tried to reinstall then uninstall but then i ended up with 2 pandas in the add/remove programs, so 1 did uninstall but the other is still there. I appreciate your help.

You should just format your hard drive and reinstall. After you have a clean system do not mess with Panda, at least their trials that are causing you never ending problems.

Did it not have its own uninstaller, ie in Programs/Panda ? Did you edit the registry for Panda keys ? Backup everything important including the registry to a cdr/rw cd before you do this. Internet2000 seems to have some knowledge and/or experience with Panda. I have heard some things about it I don't like either.
