For me, I would not want to install Vista over XP.  If you install fresh ( Reformat and Install ) than you have to Install the upgrade Vista disk, when prompted, insert Windows XP for verification, than insert Vista back in.    I'm lazy, so I would wait until Dell has them installed for us.  Unless they have a great promotion before that time, then for me, its a no brainer.     :smileytongue:

I have a Insperon 1705 and when Dell shipped it to me it had two partitions one for Xp and one for backup I installed Vista beta on this and it is running great no special anything let Vista format the partition and install I love it so far.... I downloaded the Beta online..
