windows black command screen
I have windows 7 ultimate 64bit, and I am trying to fix a bug. A separate program produces a report, but what looks to be a black command screen with an error message flashes by so fast that I can't do a print screen of it. Is there a way to either slow it down, copy the error message, or record video of the laptop screen? Thankyou.

under what section of event viewer? "administrative events," "summary page events," "windows logs," "application and services logs," etc. There are so many, and as far as I can tell, I have looked at them all. I tried the buggy software at about 9:22 pm central time and could not find it.

Hi,
You will be able to find the log in the event viewer. under "summary page events" Which should give you the complete Event history, i would also advise you to look into applications and services logs to check if it is a cause of any application or software causing the issue. When the computer appears with the black window try to note down the computer time, which will help you the events occurred on time to time basis to try and identify the bug.
