Windows Backup is not installed by default in XP. You have to install it from the XP disk. You can ask for one copy of your original operating system disks from Dell Here. You could also use another backup program or just copy your personal files. You should be doing that regularly anyway. You really need to have your original disks for correcting problems and reinstalls.
