T50 - Are they able to open PDF or Office documents in read only mode

T50 - Are they able to open PDF or Office documents in read only mode

Likely silly question, and may need to go back to a Wyse Windows based unit, but can these T50 open a simple pdf when browsing locally on internet?
And can we install some sort of Office free viewer even if I could just open a Microsoft office spread sheet in read only mode would be good.
Or do I need to go back and install a Windows Based Wyse unit for this functionality?

Hi rarthur, lucid-hedley packages should be available through correct repositories for armel architecture: also try http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/pdf to discover but apt-get install evince should do the trick.
