problem with vnc paswrd

If you prompted for a VNC password, but you don't know what it is:

I assume you have installed TightVNC on your PC

Go to Start > Programs > Tight VNC > TightVNC Server (Service Mode) > TightVNC Service (Control Interface). After you do that you should see a "V" icon in your tray. Right click on that and select "Configuration". You will then be able to set your "Primary password".

Please make sure you did select "Allow loopback connections" on VNC:
1)On your PC, Right click on the TightVNC tray icon and select "Configuration".
2) Click on the "Access Control" tab.
3) Under "Loopback Connections" ensure that "Allow loopback connections" is checked.
4) Restart the service, or if you don't know how to do that then you can restart your computer.

Suchitha .. The error mesage is "conecten fail" exit or reconect 
and still dont know if i can change de pasword of vnc or what

Hi dj, When you enter the password and try to connect, do you get any error message? 
what does it say?
Can you please try connecting to the same desktop using a desktop vnc client? Does it work?
