wyse 3040 uefi cherry trail energy preference settings missing

When repurposing the dell wyse 3040 as a generic linux device (because it is in fact a generic x86-64 based intel cherry trail mini computer), the uefi firmware gives an error and prevents me using it the way i want.

This concerns uefi boot message:
"[ 0.135229] ENERGY_PERF_BIAS: Set to 'normal', was 'performance'"

Unfortunately energy performance settings for cherry trail system on chip platform are missing in uefi firmware on wyse 3040 device. I need to set performance settings set to "performance" in order for my software to operate properly.
