Feature Request: Shutdown on idle
Feature Request: Shutdown on idle
Hi,
Would it be possible to get a shutdown on idle feature added please?
We've investigated using Autosignoff and Shutdown, but find we get a situation where a user’s terminal locks because of the user locks it or because of the screensaver. Then they unlock the terminal in the morning and it shutdown.
Thank you
Matt

Matt not sure if I understand you correctly but there is a Inactive={0-480} parameter that logs off the user after a certain amount if idle minutes. When you combine this with the following parameters it should shutdown your unit
AutoSignoff=yes Shutdown=yes
Shutdowncounter=0

We are trying to shutdown the terminals after inactivity, but not shut them down when the user logs off. Has this been cleared up yet?
Enabling the AutoSignoff=yes Shutdown=yes even if you do a normal logoff the terminal is shutdown.
Thank you for any help.

Hi JorisL
That's correct. But by enabling the AutoSignoff=yes Shutdown=yes even if you do a normal logoff the terminal is shutdown. So we wondered if we could just have a shutdown on idle and not to have to set the AutoSignoff=yes Shutdown=yes settings.
Cheers
Matt
