RDP with Multiple IP in Host Parameter
RDP with Multiple IP in Host Parameter
I am testing the failover feature of RDP of WTOS on a D10DP. To test I listed three servers in the host parameter in my ini file, and also set connection limits on the RDP server. When testing I have noticed the device does not failover to the next server when the primary server has reached it connection max. I also noticed an error in the Event log (Picture below) I want to make sure I am using the right syntax and if the error displayed gives any insight into why the failover feature is not working.
Syntax Used
Code:
Host=192.168.1.1,192.168.1.2,192.168.1.3
Error In Event Log
pdu_recv: err code 104
x224 recv connect confirm pdu failure!
x224 layer connect failure!

We experienced the same error message (pdu_recv: err code 104) in the terminal's event log trying to connect to an RDS farm. ThinOS also gave an error message in a seperate window after disconnecting the RDP session: "RDP[RDS-X.domain.local]: Bad file number". We noticed that this only occurred using terminals with WTOS version 8. Downgrading to WTOS version 7 solved the issue. Although it's a workaround and not a solution we decided to stick with version 7 for now.
