Session locking not working when removing smartcard

Posting on behalf of customer as his post got removed:

In Citrix XenApp 6.5 on Windows 2008 R2, whenever a smartcard is removed from the workstation in a session the screen is not locked.

Configured:
-Thinclient R10L image 8.0_208
-Smartcard driver from AET
-Smartcard removal behavior group policy is set to Lock Workstation.
-Smartcard removal group policy service set to Automatic
-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\SmartCard\ScLoc kNoDisc is set to 1 (lock)
-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SCRemoveOption is set to 1 (lock)
- set SignOn=Yes SCRemovalBehavior=1 in the wnos.ini

When connecting to XA from a PC the session locking works, it only doesn't work when logging on from a ThinOS client.

When using the same wnos.ini and firmware but then connecting to XenApp 5 on Windows Server 2003, the session locking works again.

We opened a case with Microsoft but after investigation they claim it is a ThinOS problem.
