Studio XPS 435T, upgrades?
I just got the Dell Studio XPS 435T from a seller and the specs are
• I7-920 cpu
• 4GB DDR3 RAM
• WD black 1TB 7200rpm hard drive
• evga GTX 730 4GB
• WiFi adapter
• 500w psu
this would be my very first PC at 17 and my dad built his own and it looks freaking amazing and I want to learn to see what I can do to upgrade mine.
What I mainly want to use it for is for recording videos for my YouTube channel and do Twitch and play some games that won’t go and destroy it.
I would really appreciate someone helping me out to see what I can do to upgrade it, oh and it also runs on windows 10, I only know a little bit about pc’s so I want to learn if can help me thank you so much.

435T is first GEN Core I7 so compared to 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th gen CORE I7 its ancient and slow.
That said you have PCI-E video expansion so any card you buy if its current can be carried forward to any newer systems.
Your system uses DDR3 LOW DENSITY TRI Channel Ram.
So 3 or 6 sticks is the max being 12 or 24 gigs.
If you have at least 6 gigs of ram any more would be a waste.

GTX 1050TI video card would be what I would recommend as an upgrade.
If thats too expensive the lowest I would go would be GT1030 that is DDR5 avoid DDR4 GT1030 cards.
