SupportAssist Update Failure
Hi,
I keep getting a message from Dell Update about there being an update for SupportAssist. When I try to install the update it always fails (see attached image).
I am currently am running SupportAssist 3.3.2.46 which says it is the latest version.
Any ideas on how to resolve this?
Thanks

If it were me, I'd skip that one too.
You can occasionally go to Dell's Support page and put in your Service Tag. The page will then list current driver versions for your specific hardware. You can tell either by the release date and/or version numbers listed compared to version numbers shown in Device Manager on your PC to decide if there's a new update you want/need.

I have done that too (running the driver detect) from the webpage. It will show what looks like an updated version of Intel Management Engine Version: 1914.12.0.1255 ,A04 but I'm only running 1904.12.0.1208. I would think that should signal to update it, but it doesn't

It only tells you what new drivers may be available. User had to decide if they want the update(s) or not.
So now that you know there's a new Intel ME update, go to the support page for your model, find the ME driver and download it onto your desktop. Then double-click it to start the installation.

Also before manually installing any update I suggest you click on the link "View full driver details" and read that page. For example, for the Intel Management Engine, the details under "Important Information" recommends installing the Chipset driver before installing this update. Since the Chipset driver is normally already installed I am not sure this means to update the Chipset driver before installing this update.
