XPS 27-7760, R9 M485X vBIOS update?
Since I got my system, anytime I would try to play a game, the system would crash. After looking into it, I found out that the system doesn't have a vBIOS on the R9 at all. After reading into it, I figured I'd give flashing the vBIOS a go, but as far I can tell, there's no uploaded version of it anywhere.

If the system is under warranty, have you contacted Dell Tech Support
Open Windows Event Viewer and look for an error around the time of the last crash, which might point you in the right direction. Absence of an error at a crash doesn't help.
What version of BIOS is running? Version 2.4.1 is the latest.

Be sure to read and follow directions carefullyif you decide to update BIOS. Do not let Dell's SupportAssist app manage this update for you. Download the update file to the desktop manually and launch it yourself. Temporarily disable your anti-malware app before launching the BIOS update.
Do you have the latest drivers for chipsets, video, etc? Dell released a lot of new drivers for this system in Dec'18 and Jan/Feb'19.

When I say it crashes, it just freezes. It's any time the system tries to swap to the dedicated gpu.
As stated, the issue has nothing to do with the BIOS, it's entirely related to the vBIOS, as the dedicated gpu, the R9 M485X, doesn't currently have one what-so-ever.

I don't see mention of "M485X" on the support page for this model. So where did you get that number? The only AMD video driver listed is for the M500 series and the latest driver for that series was released in Dec'18.
Have you looked in the AMD control center for options to prevent the system from using the onboard Intel HD Graphics?

I'm not sure why I'd have to look elsewhere when there are other threads with vBIOS issues, with vBIOS rom's being provided to them. See; https://www.dell.com/community/XPS-Desktops/XPS-27-7760-Radeon-VBIOS-update/m-p/6056053
As for knowing it's not a BIOS issue, disabling Switchable graphics doesn't solve anything, and locks the system to the integrated Intel graphics. This is undesirable when the system has a dedicated GPU installed.
The R9 M485X was found through GPU-Z as I got this system second-hand without being told what specs it had, and I was able to confirm that this is a valid GPU for the system with a little bit of searching around on the forum. See; https://www.dell.com/community/XPS-Desktops/XPS-27-7760-Can-the-graphics-card-be-upgraded/m-p/6083678
Although the AMD control center hasn't opened for a while now, it never gave me the option to prevent the system from using the integrated Intel graphics.

There were some mentions of this related to folks trying to use an Oculus Rift VR headset on the system. If you see the name of the poster who provided the vBios you might click on their name and ask to be friends. They may be able to send you the Bios directly.
I have no experience with this situation other than reading about it so I cannot comment of any fixes. If you knew the prior owner, maybe they could let you know why they did not keep the system.
I am not that familiar with AMD graphics products, but the driver on the downloads page mentions the AMD Radeon M500 series
