XPS 27-7760, flickering screen
Brand new unit.
I noticed that when using windows sometime only on certain colours the screen flickers (e.g. very common with white and light grey). It's a strange flickering it makes me feel like it doesn't have enough power as the brightness is somehow affected as well.
It doesn't always happen. All the drivers + BIOS are up 2 date. As far as I can tell this is happening only using Windows so on the Internal Intel video card. It doesn't happen on the discrete card (Radeon).

I've seen some other posts of flickering screens and driver updates were mostly the issue.
Since it does it with the Intel Video, go to the Intel site and download/install the latest driver. The Dell site, or even Windows updates, do not usually have the latest driver.

Reboot and immediately press F2 to open BIOS setup. Look for the switchable graphics option and disable it. Do not change anything else in BIOS setup, but save the change to switchable graphics and exit setup.
That will disable onboard Intel HD Graphics and force the PC to use the AMD discrete graphics card. That could be a work-around if updating the Intel HD Graphics driver doesn't solve the problem.
NOTE: When you disable the onboard HD Graphics, you might start hearing buzzing noises from the screen. If that happens, send a Private Message to Dell-Alasdair R on his user page and request the patch. Include your user name, your full contact info, Service Tag for this PC, and a link to this thread in your PM. (Do not post any of that info here!).

Same issue here. It is happening with my "Two" Dell XPS 27 7770 AIO units (got them on 12/21/2018). No matter if using built-in Intel Graphics, or disable it and making the discrete AMD Radeon 570 the only one active on the bios. Spent 7 days (~23 hours on the phone, including wait time) with Dell Support, and tried everything under the sun(and I really mean it!) -> Final Result: There is no solution. This is a 100% hardware design flaw for this specific unit when was designed from the ground up. So, updating drivers, video card firmware, or bios would not fix the inherent hardware issue.

Trying for a 3rd time. In the comments of the below YouTube video, there is a suggestion to update the Monitor Firmware. This seems to work for many people. I just installed it, did not damage my XPS 27-7760 and so far so good with the flickering issue being resolved.
MSTAR SC (Firmware update for XPS One 2720, Windows 8.1 64-bit)
MStar Scalar (Firmware update application for XPS One 2720, Windows 8/8.1 64-bit)
I had the same issue i just fixed it. You need to update the monitor Firmware. You need to download two things. I will post the links. Download both. Unzip the first one after unzip the second one and it will ask you to run it, so run the program it will update the firmware.
Thanks
