it depends on your stock cpu. if you have i5-4570, you can consider GTX 1050.  it is mid range geforce 10 series, not fancy but better than entry level gt 1030.

Graphic card and processor will work great together

Intel Core i5-4570 (Clock speed at 100%) with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 (Clock speed at 100%) x1 will produce only 6.19% of bottleneck.

another option is GTX 960, also mid range.

Intel Core i5-4570 (Clock speed at 100%) with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 (Clock speed at 100%) x1 will produce only 0.001% of bottleneck.

if you have i7-4770, then GTX 1060 or 970.

Intel Core i7-4770 (Clock speed at 100%) with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (Clock speed at 100%) x1 will produce only 0.54% of bottleneck.

Intel Core i7-4770 (Clock speed at 100%) with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (Clock speed at 100%) x1 will produce only 0.08% of bottleneck.

if these cards are overspend for you, then down grade to a slower gpu that can still do dual monitors.

Red,

System info:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4430 CPU @ 3.00GHz

Wind10x64

-------------------

Currently using AMD Radeon HD 7570, for dual monitors, but due to the driver version, both displays/system keep crashing. I think the solution is to swap out the card. Thoughts?

-----------------------

Also, someone suggested I swap the card out with a GTX 1650 OC. Thoughts? Compatible?

Your processor is too weak for this graphic card.

Intel Core i5-4430 (Clock speed at 100%) with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 (Clock speed at 100%) x1 will produce 28.21% of bottleneck. Everything over 10% is considered as bottleneck.

Graphic card and processor will work great together

Intel Core i5-4430 (Clock speed at 100%) with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 (Clock speed at 100%) x1 will produce only 0.49% of bottleneck.

@Red,

Please clarify....

1650 is a NO?

1050 is a YES?

-------------

Note, My XPS is not new, therefore, I don't want to overspend on a discreate graphics card. I just need to run two monitors and perform multitasking office work. I'm looking at $150.00 price range.....suggestions??

Non Dell Cards will require secure boot OFF.

1050 TI  1650  1660 work fine in 8700 if they physically fit into the case.

Some models will be difficult to get in if they have 3 fans and are 12 inches long.

Both Quadro cards I recommended work fine in the 8700 and support 2 monitors and are less than $150.
