XPS 8700, Intel Management Engine Interface issue

Hello

I am getting the following error in the Intel Management Engine Interface driver of XPS 8700 desktop Win10 64 bit.

Error is failed to perform handshake with the firmware.

I have tried to uninstall and reboot the machine ,but nothing worked.

Please help to resolve this issue.

When do you get that error, booting, waking from sleep, or...?

Open Device Manager and see if anything is marked with a yellow ! or if there's any Unknown device listed.

When was last time you replaced the motherboard battery?

Go to the Intel Download Center and download/install their Support Assistant. Run it and install any new drivers it offers for your system.
