@elvee2 From a quick search at Newegg, eBay, and Amazon, it appears your graphics card is still available. If your graphics card was an OEM Dell card you may want to first determine what video ports (HDMI, DVI, DisplayPort) you use/need and what is available on the card you plan to purchase. Not all retail cards have the same video ports as the OEM card and different manufacturers may have different ports. You should all check the minimum power supply requirements, they can also be different.

Hi,

Thanks for your answer.

Here in The Netherlands, I couldn't find the AMD Radeon R9 270 at local stores like Bol.com and Coolblue ("no more available"). At Amazon.nl, I found this :

AMD RADEON R9 270 - kopie.jpg

They talk about a Dual Fan Cooling for XFX R9 270A, I doubt if this is the whole Graphics card.

At Amazon.com, they sell the Dell AMD Radeon R9 Graphics card but they don't ship to The Netherlands

@elvee2 , in the back of my XPS 8700 have one HDMI and one DP output for onboard graphics (intel HD 4600).  If yours is the same, you might want to temporarily use them while removing your R9 270 for cleaning and further inspection and/or testing it on a different machine before purchasing a new card.

If you must replace your graphic card, look for what available to you that have matching output connectors to your usage and the power within150w.  It doesn't have to be a R9 270.  Let us know and someone here could tell you if it will be compatible with your system or not.

@elvee2 Sorry I didn't know you are in the Netherlands. AMD provides the graphics chips and a reference design and also manufacturers retail graphics cards but other manufacturers can take those graphics chips and that reference design and make changes and improvements and that is why not all AMD Radeon R9 270 graphics cards are the same.

Hi,

Thanks for the answer.

Unfortunately, I know very little about computers.

In fact, it began with problems with the power button. So I decided to place a new cell battery Lithium 3V CR 2032. There was a lot of dust inside the PC so I cleaned it, also the graphics card. It was from then on that I had deteriorating problems with my screens.

I have removed the graphics card AMD Radeon R9 and have connected my screen with a HDMI cable to the onboard graphics card, but it didn't work (see photo 1);

I have also included two photos of my graphics card AMD Radeon.

I don't know what you mean wih “power within 150w”.

On my invoice, I see “321-BBCK MOD,CHAS,L6,460W,8700”.

And how can i know a graphics card from other manufacturers work with my PC?

@elvee2 , are you able to make change in BIOS.  If you know how, go into BIOS and under Advanced you highlighted Onboard Device Configuration and hit enter, you will be able to see Intel Multi-Display, select enable then save when exit.  When the computer starts, Windows finds and install the driver for your onboard graphics.  Another method to enable your onboard graphics is to remove the R9 from your computer.  About the 150w, that was how much power your R9 card required from your system and your PC has a power supply that provided 460w total.  Your processor probably used about 84w.  If you have to purchase a different model of graphics card, look for the power requirement within 150w so that your power supply can handle it without any problem.

On other note, you may want to get some canned air duster and try to re-seat your graphic card after cleaning again.

@elvee2 , I hope everything is(will) working for you.  The prices for graphics card are still high at this time.  So unless you have specific usage that required a dedicate graphics similar to your OEM, a replacement could be put on hold until you find one that is not over value to your system.

After a quick glance on eBay in US, I see this new R9 270 from a seller whom will ship to your area.  You may want to take a look at it to get familiar with the descriptions and learning what information to compare when you are shopping for one.  I am not saying "buy it", just for reference only.

@Chino de OroThe onboard graphics card works well now.

Prices for graphic cards are indeed rather high.Meanwhile, I bought a new DELL two weeks ago so a new OEM grahics card for my old XPS 8700 is not directly necessary for the moment.

Thanks also for the hint on eBay US and thanks to all for the help here.
