XPS 8930, Hyperthreading Cores not in Device Manager

I have a Dell XPS 8930 with an I7-9700 processor. When I go into system info and look at Device manager/processor it only show the 8 physical cores and not the 8 hyperthreading cores. I have looked in Bios and they are not disabled there. Is there anything else that I am missing. I have a 8930 with an I7-8700 and it shows all 12 cores (6 Physical and 6 hyperthreading). I have looked at CPUID and it shows that the I7-9700 type processor is correct and  processor should have 8 physical and 8 hyperthreading cores.

No Hyperthreading! That is BS. Thanks for pointing that out before I made my purchase.

Duh, Thanks I never thought that Intel would create a non hyperthreading I7 processor after all these years.

The i7-9700 does not support Intel Hyper-Threading Technology.

Hmm, looks like that is correct.

But neither do most Intel Xeons ... you think they are slow or inferior ?

I don't. I think Intel Engineers know what is best for each model.

The i7-9700 does not have hyper-threading technology but it does have 8 cores. Having hyper-threading is nice, but I think I would rather have 8 cores with no hyper-threading that 4 cores with hyper-threading. Since the previous generation Intel processor had 6 cores and hyper-threading there may actually be an improved performance with the i7-9700 for most users.
