XPS 8930 - Network Drivers

In the last few days, I've looked on the Dell Support site for updated Network Drivers (both WiFi & Ethernet).   I noticed that there are 4 drivers:- Killer Control Center Application  Killer PCIe Ethernet Controller Driver  Killer Wireless 1650/1435/1535 WiFi Driver Urgent  Killer Wireless AC 1535 and 1435 Bluetooth Driver Urgent The first 3 being dated 2nd March 2020 & the final one being 19th Sept 2019. It was also noted that the last 2 (WiFi & Bluetooth were marked as 'URGENT').   Since I don't use the Control Centre, nor do I use the Bluetooth, I immediately updated the Ethernet & WifI Drivers. These appeared to give an improvement in performance, but I was amused to note that they were now Standard Microsoft Drivers rather than the 'Rivet' Drivers (i.e. the maker of the Killer Product Range).   Needless to say, I was amazed (& annoyed) to find that, today, my XPS has Auto-updated & re-installed the Rivet Drivers!!   Just what is the point of Dell publishing alternative Drivers (particularly when the state it is 'URGENT') for the Windows Auto-Update function (I refuse to call it a 'Feature') simply over-writes them!

I usually only download driver from Dell that Windows 7/10 do not provide.  I leave everything else for Microsoft to decide. I heard many users negative experiences on Dell support assistant 'urgent update' which caused more problems than any improvement. Just ignore Dell software update msg if I were you.
