XPS 8930, PowerMediaPlayer, AACS License Key update, infinite loop
I finally tried to play a Blue Ray DVD on my XPS 8930 and the Power Media Player keeps going off to install "an important component of CyberLink Power Media Plasyer requires periodc update. New moviews may not play if the component is not updated now. Would you like to update now?"
Click yes, get a message that everything is updated then the process repeats over and over again.
Went through the CyberLink Media Suite Essentials interface, got prompted to download a new version "14.0.47080.891". Installed that. Same thing.
Saw a post to reinstall as Windows Administrator and got the message "You do not have the required version of the program installed. Please contact your application provider". So I am.
Can someone help?

Uninstall Both Power media player and Media Suite essentials.
Reboot
This link will launch windows store, install media suite essentials. In windows store click on 3 dots on top right and check for updates. You will find plenty of apps pending updates. Update all of them.
Now open Media suite essentials and click on power media player, it will once again launch windows store install power media player
Load the DVD/BD

@Crog
Uninstall all of the software and go online and reinstall each thing one at a time.
I just did this and it works fine.
