XPS 8930, Problem to change PSU

Question

Today I decided to make some changes in my computer. I have a Dell XPS 8930 (I7-8700) and decided to change my PSU (Corsair RM650x) to upgrade my gpu (i had one 1050 and put one 1070). I also changed my memory (two regular 8gb for two Crucial Ballistix 16gb). After I changed everything, the computer did not turn on. I made some tests and realized that the nem PSU wasnt working. Ive checked into the manual and some youtube videos to see if i made any mistake when i connected the cables but i didnt find anything. The only problem is that my cpu power connection is with 4 pins and the psu came only with a 8 pins power cable. I tried to connect this cable in the 4 pins but it didnt work. If I use an adapter can i solve this problem or the psu has any kind of problem and i should return it? Now, im using the old psu again and everything is working just fine. My new Memory and gpu is working without any issue. But my old psu is weak (460w) and i know that i cant use it with this new gpu. So tomorrow i want to work this out with an adapter or a new psu. What should i do? Thanks a lot.

Thanks a lot.You need to split that 8 pin connector into 2 four pins connectors.&#xa0; One is connected to the CPU Power connector in the upper left hand corner, the other connector folds back and is not connected.Its labeled EPS/ATX12V 8 pin cableTried to find good pic, this is the best that I can do.&#xa0; 4 pin connector marked 'CPU' to 4 pin white CPU power&#xa0; header.&#xa0;And dont't forget there is a power switch on the new Corsair PSU.&#xa0; Flip the switch....&#xa0;
