Do you really need SupportAssist?  You can always check manually for driver updates etc by entering your Service Tag  on the Support home page (don't post Service Tag here) and let it find drivers for your system. It won't tell you which ones are already installed on your PC, but you can usually figure out which ones are new by their Release Date. And/or compare the version number listed for a driver on the Support site with the version number shown for that driver in Device Manager.

If you do want to use SupportAssist, you may have to uninstall the existing version first, rather than installing the new one "on top". Then go to the SupportAssist download page linked on the page I posted above to make sure you get the latest version.

@RoHe

I guess I do not really need it. But I rather use it I do understand the way you are talking about. I will try the uninstall and reinstall.

Thanks

Here is a screenshot I let it run over an hour and came back with this message this time.
