I started having the same problem last week after the latest system update (5/24) was completed. Working with Dell after multiple hours and two days I gave up and I asked a computer friend who suggested a system restore. The first time I still had the computer hooked up to the internet and when it go done with the restore it also did an update. After which it still turned itself back on. The second time I chose the previous update from May 16, unhooked the cable and did the restore. After which the computer powered off and stayed off. So what is going on with the new updates? Obviously something in the 5/24 package caused this and did so twice. How can I update the system going forward?

What updates are you referring to, Dell updates or Windows 10 updates?
