I suggest you download, install, and run CPU-Z to find out more about your RAM. In the SPD tab of CPU-Z, if you select the Slot # from the drop-down on the left you can determine if you RAM is single or dual rank. You don't have to replace both modules, I have had success using Crucial memory to match an existing module, but if your RAM is dual rank it appears that Crucial does not sell a single dual rank module. So if your modules are single rank I would consider the CT8G4DRS8266 otherwise the 2x8GB kit CT2K8G4DFS8266. The RAM in the XPS 8930 is not high performance so there is no need to buy higher speed RAM. You cannot clock your RAM faster than 2666 MHz.

FWIW, I have 2x8 GB of DDR4-2666 RAM in my XPS 8930 and it's single rank...
