XPS 8930, update file?
The Dell driver checker is wanting to install the following file: Intel-Management-Engine-Components-Installer_497XT_WIN_2205.15.0.2623_A08.EXE Has anyone had a problem with this file? I have downloaded the file but have not run it yet. Thanks for suggestions.

Thanks for the replies. I knew it had something to do with Intel guarding against attacks, just wanted to make sure nobody had experienced problems with it.
As usual, I don't let Dell update new file releases via the Dell update/check page. I have had trouble in the past with the attempted installs didn't work or had difficulties. I downloaded the file and ran it this morning and had no problems.
Thanks to speedstep and fireberd, this is solved!

I can't speak directly to this particular 8930 update, but on my systems its been a "non issue". Intel updates no problems.

I installed Intel ME vA08 on my XPS 8930 (Win 10) at end of last week.
Had more trouble trying to download the file manually - it kept downloading only a "-partial" file.
Once I finally got the entire file, it installed without any issues. Windows Reliability Monitor shows that the old version was successfully uninstalled and the new version successfully installed.
No problems with this PC since the update...
