XPS 8940, 4K Audio/Video sync issues

I have a newly purchased XPS 8940 that I have connected to a newer (2020) Samsung UHD TV via a "4k certified" HDMI cable. I am using the built in port for the Intel UHD 630 chip. When watching 4K video, the audio sync fails within a few minutes. I have checked the settings on the TV, and enabling the HDMI eArc settings and the digital delay does nothing. I can cast the same video in 4K resolution using the Windows 10 cast to feature, but that often results in the spinning wheel and pauses, even when there is no network activity. the audio and video sync does not drift. Videos at 1080p or 720p do not suffer from sync issues. Any suggestions other than adding a dedicated graphics card that supports 4K resolution? the current one I have tops out at 1920x1080. Thanks

Turn off eARC to decrease required bandwidth or extra bi-direction signals over the HDMI-cable.

Videos and music rendered on the computer just need to play from the computer's speakers.

eARC would only be for hearing TV-Apps (ie, content generated on the TV itself, or ATSC antenna content) on the computer's speakers (not sure that is even possible).

Be sure "Lip-Sync" is Enabled on the TV's menus.

I tested using the audio out from the mini jack. audio sync was still lost there as well. Dell support has told me I need a dedicated GPU and not the shared architecture provided by the on board graphics chip. I suspected as much. I will disable the eArc and see if it makes any difference. The only 2 settings are AUTO and OFF. Didn't see anything about 'lip sync' on any video menu on the teevee. Thanks for the suggestion
