XPS model?, computer reset

I did a computer reset. Now when it boots up it says “why did my pc restart?”, “there's a problem that’s keeping us from getting your pc ready to use, but we think an update will help get things working again.”. I click next then after about 5 minutes it comes right back to the same screen.

What do you mean you "reset"?

That word is used to refer to a couple of different actions.

Instead of using reset which is better if you are keeping your computer, use Create Media Tool to make install media and do a clean install which lets you delete the windows partition and install windows.

That removes all traces of your info and makes the computer like new. Follow the directions carefully.
