12 unknown devices. How to fix?
Hello all,
I have clean installed Win10 on my XPS 9560 (2017) and used SupportAssist to find the correct drivers for my system but even after updating everything i have 12 unknown devices. One of the is an SMBus Controller which i imagine is important. I'm not sure what im doing wrong or why the SupportAssist wizard didn't detect all the correct hardware drivers but it would really help to know of a way to track down said hardware.
Any tips or advice with how to get the correct drivers greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advanced, Cy

The SMBus Controller (Chipset driver) is in your Dell Product Support page. You'll have to manually download drivers from it. Please view ( or enter service tag number) and click your Dell model number in link below:
Drivers & Downloads | Dell US
After, download / install the necessary drivers/ application and firmware in correct order:

Lastly,
Please make sure latest windows updates are installed on the computer.

Right click the start button and go to settings, then go to update & security and make sure Windows 10 Update is up to date. This will install the latest cumulative update (or latest mainstream build) and a lot of the system drivers from Windows Update. Once this is done install Dell Update, which will scan your system and look to Dell's servers for any updated drivers (use this instead of Dell Support Assist):

Any updates CyonUK ?
I'm assuming you installed the latest windows updates to fix the unknown devices in device manager? And use Dell Update tool (per Philip_Yip) to search for the necessary Dell drivers.
