pattern 2 amber, 4 white is for Memory or RAM failure.
First thing i would try is reseating RAM.
Second thing i would do is flea power release:
Flea power is the residual static electricity that remains on the computer even after it has been powered off and the battery has been removed. The following procedure provides the instructions on how to conduct flea power release:

Thanks so much for getting back to me. I just tried unopugging the ram and replugging. This didn't work so I then tried having just one plugged in. It didn't work when the first came out (same prob) but when I tried just having the second in alone the laptop turned on. It said there was a change in storage detected and gave me the option to diagnose or continue booting. I clicked continue and then the screen went weird. It froze with eveey pixel being distorted and looked v strange. This happened all in the space of about 1 min. Since then I tried the booting in safe mode with just one ram plugged in and I have the same problem each time, crazy pixels frozen on the screen I will try your other methods now..
Please continue to work with those troubleshooting tips that were posted and let us know.

Hi,
pattern 2 amber, 4 white is for Memory or RAM failure.
First thing i would try is reseating RAM.
Second thing i would do is flea power release:
Turn off your computer.
Remove the base cover.
Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds to drain the flea power.
Replace the base cover.
Turn on your computer.
Third thing i would do is hold power button for 30 seconds ( more on link bellow):

Also try this if your product is supported:

The HDD and DATA should be unharmed as it doesnt have anything to do with above troubles.
