9570 Video drivers info

I received my new XPS 9570 Laptop this week and ad usual I prefer perform a clean install of Windows 10. So I installed the 1809 version and official Dell Intel 630 + Nvidia 1050TI video drivers but I see that Intel Graphic Panel is missing and Nvidia Control Panel won’t open. I read online that Intel is working with Microsoft for its Universal Driver Version so they should resolve in the next future. About the Nvidia drivers and Control Panel I installed GeForce experience and installed the drivers through it. If I install the driver downloaded directly from Nvidia website it didn’t work, it seems not compatible with 1050TI of Dell ( i tried also to erase the old one and install it witouth connection to internet...) I would ask Dell when they think to release new drivers or some info about these drivers. For now my Laptop is running very stable with Intel 630 from Microsoft and 1050TI from Nvidia GeForce Experience.

Thank you for your message. I apologize for the inconvenience caused. We have been informed about a couple of cases where customers are not able to install graphics drivers from our Support site.

Did you get any error message when installing the drivers from Dell support page?

After the driver installation from the Dell support page, did you face any graphics issue apart from not being able to access the control panel?

What is the present version of drivers installed from the manufacturer site?

For my reference, please click on the message tab next to your avatar– click “New Message” & search for my Dell username (Dell-Sreejith R) & send a private message with the service tag, registered name & email address.

What is a Dell Service Tag and how do I locate it?

Thanks, I sent to you a private message.

The driver versions are:

Intel UHD 630 ver. 24.20.100.6287 installed directly from Windows Update but I also tried the Dell version and the Graphic Panel was still missing...

Nvidia 1050TI ver. 25.21.14.1722 or simply 417.22 installed through Geforce Experience. I tried also the Dell version but the Nvdia Control Panel won't open...

For now no problem with my system and I made a clean installation of Windows 10 (1809).

Hope this helps you.

Thank you for the confirmation. Please download & save the older version of drivers from the Dell Support site & install in the same order.

Intel Chipset Device software - 10.1.17541.8066 ,A00

Intel Driver version – https://dell.to/2B6S9Jv37 (A01)

Nvidia Driver version - https://dell.to/2B5u3Ph93 (A02)

Nvidia graphics application - https://dell.to/2B5u3Ph93, A00

Before you install these drivers – Uninstall the graphics drivers & applications from programs. Open device manager – expand display adapter – right click on the graphics driver & click on uninstall (check the box that says delete driver). Do not restart the computer.

Install the above drivers & then reboot the system.

During my last clean installation of Windows I installed in this order but nothing changed.

Graphic Panel was missing.

Do you have an option in the Bios to change the primary Video output?

Are you downloading the mobile version for the Nvidia device from their website?

I never install the GeForce Experience due to problems with it some years ago.

Hi, with Dell Intel Drivers the problem is present. You have all my details because yesterday I sent to you a private message with Service tag etc... I invite the other XPS 9570 users to post here if their Intel Control Panel works ...

I don’t understand why you ask this. I have no problem with GeForce Experience and Nvidia official drivers.

Also I have no problem with Intel UHD 630 drivers, the only concern is that Intel Graphic Panel is missing and Intel is working with Microsoft to resolve this...

About 1050TI if I install Official Dell drivers Nvidia Panel won’t open so I installed GeForce Experience and downloaded the Nvidia drivers from there and all is working good.

I asked to other XPS 9570 users if using Windows 10 ( 1809 ) and the last drivers from Dell of from Microsoft Update they have Intel Graphic Panel in the tray icon.

@idark77Hello I know your Problem. I

had the same issue installing the original vendor drivers. And I had much more trouble like a unstable system. So I did a complete factory reset to the original Dell delivery state and only installed their (old) drivers. Actually everything is working but not with the most actual Dell drivers (see below)

After the installation of 1809 i had following state:

Intel Version: 23.20.16.4973
Datum: 28.02.2018

Nvidia: Version: 23.21.13.8934
Datum: 17.05.2018

Then I installed Intel-UHD-Graphics-630-P630_HFTD6_WIN_24.20.100.6287_A02 and still everything was fine.

Then I tried nVIDIA-Graphics-Driver_X1N95_WIN_24.21.13.9793_A02.EXE but this failed with a message that the OS is not compatible. I think it is the same problem when using the original drivers. I have not had the courage installing the vendor drivers jet because I'm afraid to get a system without control panels again.

Here is the installer Log:

Datum: 17.05.2018

to nVidia Version:
