Bluetooth Problems
This morning I used a Bluetooth speaker and Bluetooth mouse with no issues. Later in the day, after not touching my computer other than to turn it off the Bluetooth setting have disappeared from my device. It no longer shows up in device manager, the toggle is not in the settings, and running the troubleshooter says this device does not support it and to add an external device to get the feature. This is not the first time it has happened, last time I spent 1 year without Bluetooth, 4 months without a headphone jack, and then another 4 months with no computer while best buy tried to find the problem. I have tried countless ways to fix it, from trying to update drivers, to reinstalling windows, nothing has worked. Please, someone, help me with this.

If you re-install Windows, you need to install drivers starting with the chipset driver.

I'm seeing similar issues intermittently. Bluetooth simply disappears completely -- guessing the stack has crashed. Another thread suggested turning off (via Device Manager) the ability for the BIOS to turn off Bluetooth to save power -- trying that next.
