XPS 15 9570, Core Isolation/Memory Integrity, disabled by Huawei drivers
XPS 15 9570
Only today, having installed 2023-04 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5025305) have I even become aware of Core Isolation Memory Integrity. It might be a coincidence that the Update and the CIMI coincided.
What I do know is that the following drivers are identified as preventing MI being on.
- ew_usbccgpfilter.sys
-hw_cdcacm.sys
- hw_quubmdm.sys
- hw_usbdev.sys
- hw_cdcacm.sys
- hw_quubmdm.sys
I have found the the drivers in Windows/System32/DriverStore/FileRepository
The system won't allow me to delete the drivers.
I suspect these files are the remnants of my once having a Huawei phone but
that is long gone.
Can anyone advise on how to get rid of these apparently undeletable files?

JulianStephenson,
To receive assistance from Dell chat support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership. Then you must troubleshoot with them. Click the "Get help now" icon on the right to start a live chat session.
