Custom power manager with dell docking station doesn't work

Hello,

I'm using XPS 17 9700 with a dell docking station and I'm trying to using a custom power manager plan setting charging from 50% to 80% to make the battery life longer. Unfortunately, the battery is always charged 100%...
I checked the bios it reflects the power manager's settings (50-80%). Any solutions?
