DELL G3 15 3590 UPGRADE
Hey Guys, I just got done installing 'SAMSUNG 870 EVO SATA III SSD 1TB 2.5” Internal Solid State Hard Drive, Upgrade PC or Laptop Memory and Storage for IT Pros, Creators, Everyday Users, MZ-77E1T0B/AM' On my laptop.
However It is not recognizing the drive, is there something technical I have to do, apart from simply opening up the laptop and placing the drive in the HDD slot?

I believe this would be used as a secondary HDD and your computer is booting fom M.2 SSD
Open disk management and you should see your second drive as unallocated space, right click and Format.
If your secondary drive is not visible in disk management. check bios > general > system information
If it's not detected in BIOS and than it either bad or you need to reseat it once again by opening the panel

Disk 0 is your new SSD
open CMD as admin
Diskpart
Select disk 0
Clean
Now open disk management again. Right click on disk 0 and choose new simple volume
