Dell Command Update suggests wrong updates

Hi all,

I have an XPS 13 9360. Dell Command Update (2.4.0) keeps on suggesting me these old updates:

-Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver and Management Console (9/7/2017)

-Dell Update Application Win 32 (11/20/2018)

However, both fail to be installed. Of course I can permanently ignore them, but do you have a clue why they are proposed to my system?

Thanks,

Stefano

Hi all,

my system had both Dell Command Update and Dell Update. I uninstalled the former (which is older?), and now the 'wrong' updates are not suggested anymore by Dell Update.

This seems the solution to my issue, although a comment by an expert would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Stefano

Welcome to the Dell Community  @burkinafaso76

Try manually installing them.

Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver and Management Console:

Hi U2,

thanks for your suggestion.

In both cases, I get a similar error (see the attached images: one is in Italian, but the meaning is very similar, i.e. the platform is unsupported).

Thanks,
