Hi there,

I've been struggling with the same issue on both chrome and edge until I found the solution on reddit today.

On chrome:

  • Go to chrome://flags/#force-color-profile
  • Select scRGB linear (HDR when available)
  • Restart chrome

On Edge:

  • Go to edge://flags/#force-color-profile
  • Select scRGB linear (HDR when available)
  • Restart edge

Hope this helps!

Thanks for letting me know! I feel like there should be an actual fix either on Dell's end or on Google's end with Chrome, but this certainly will do for now. Thanks!

Yeah that flag change to sRGB fixed the problem. Thanks a lot man.

I did not see this on my XPS 15 9520 until this morning, with the latest version of Chrome. On some web sites Chrome would look really washed out, as if I'd turned my monitor's brightness all the way up. Switching off hardware acceleration solved this. Your solution also solves it, and allows me to turn hardware acceleration back on. Thank you for your post.
