Dell XPS 15 9560 - Add a second harddrive

Hi folks,

I have a Dell XPS 15 9560 with a 4K screen and large battery and I am wondering if I can replace the large battery with a small one and add a second hard 2,5" hard drive.

I currently only have the M2 SSD and I am in need of extra storage beyond the 1TB SSD.

Thanks for your feedback!

While it is possible, it is not practical.  You will not get much runtime out of a 56 WHr battery with a 4K screen.

Either upgrade the M.2 SSD to a larger capacity, or use an external drive - either option is infinitely preferable to running a 56 WHr battery in a 4K system.
