Dell XPS 9365 Pre-Boot System Performance Check stuck
I had a problem not being able to start the laptop, so I opened it, disconnected the CMOS battery and the main battery and held the power button for 15 seconds, then connected them again and the laptop started. I got the Pre-Boot System Performance Check screen but there is no mouse pointer and I can't choose any of the 3 buttons myself - Continue, BIOS Setup, Diagnostics. Continue looks selected, because it has a blue outline, but pressing Enter key does nothing. The warning on the screen says: "Invalid configuration information - please run SETUP program, Time of day not set - please run SETUP program."
Tab key does not work. Same with Space. Pressing "y" does nothing as well. Same with pressing F2 key.
The warranty expired last July (I hadn't used it since last July or August) and at the moment I am not planning on throwing more money at the laptop, except for a new battery as last resort.
