Dell XPS fan constantly on
I'm asking and answering my own question as I can't reply to the existing posts, where the suggestions dont work for me.
My fan was constantly running, which happened after I went into the bios and restored to "Factory Settings". The issue is not the fan which is working as intended I think. Somehow after restoring factory settings in the bios the laptop is running ~20 degrees hotter while idle!
How to fix?

Go back into the bios and restore "Bios Settings" I think its called. Since doing this I am running 20 degrees cooler and no fans are running at idle!
