Dell xps 13 9300 developer edition

Bought this machine last month switching from an old MacBook pro and I have to admit that I regret this change.
Honestly I don’t like comparison with other brand but this one deserves it.

I am very disappointed about the performance, I am on ubuntu cause I bought the developer edition but I am sure on windows it’s the same story.

Also I think I am not the only one who’s fan noise issue and battery draining drastically issue.
As someone already mentioned in topics elsewhere, just watching a movie or browsing internet the cpu is already working a lot and could hear this terrible fan noise and also expected a good quality in terms of refresh but the cpu and video doesn't seem to be very smooth. Especially the 4k model I think drastically reduces the battery life and this is quit disappointing since this is a new generation on the market with 4k display touchscreen and i7 cpu 10th gen.

Could someone else put comments in this topic? Thanks a lot community
