Disabling the trackpad while typing
I have a new XPS 13 developer edition. I ditched ubuntu for MX Linux, but that shouldn't matter. My issue is that I am all over the map when typing and it's because of the trackpad. How can I disable the trackpad while typing? Thanks so much.

Welcome to the Dell Community @blindside
I have not seen any Dell that you can disable the "Touchpad" with a key combination.
You would have to go "Device Manager" or "Settings" to disable and enable.
Since you are running MX Linux I am not sure if that is an option for you.
If I double tap the upper left hand corner of my HP zBook touchpad it disables/enables the touchpad.
With an LED that turns on when it is disabled.
I wish Dell would do the same but it would be an added expense???
Best regards,
