Since you said it's supported by Ubuntu, does that mean if I install Ubuntu instead of Windows I'll be able to use it ? Because I've done it, and installed the proprietary package supposed to use it but I'm unable to configure the fingerprint within Ubuntu

@kap4linWelcome to the forum! Yes the developer edition has a fingerprint reader built into the power button that is supported by Ubuntu.
