How do I confirm whether a specific Bios update is installed?
Dell emails me a notice that a Bios update (Trust Device Agent version 3.7.89.0, A27) is available for my XPS 15 9500.
I dutifully head over to Dell support and select "Check for Updates" and the system responds "Your system is up to date". I then use the "manually find a specific driver for your XPS 15 9500" function" and see the subject Bios update is listed. But when I toggle on the "Show downloads for only THIS PC " function, the subject update is not listed.
The inference to me is that the driver is already installed but I am not confident that is the correct conclusion.
How do I confirm that inference one way or the other?

If you run msinfo32.exe in a run box, will show the Bios version. I always do manual updates.
Windows 10 will, at times, show Bios updates. In a couple of situations, I have had to use Windows to update because the downloaded version would not install. The down side is it will also show updates you already have installed, and I do not know why.

Saltgrass's suggestion produced the following result...
BIOS Version/Date Dell Inc. 1.9.1, 8/11/2021.
That data seems to me to be prior to the 10/4/2021 release date of the Dell Trusted Device Agent.

@Student of Life Don't go by release dates. Sometimes those get moved to newer dates when Dell just updates the documentation on the download page or something. Look at the version of your BIOS compared to the version noted on the download page. In terms of filtering Downloads by Service Tag, I don't recommend doing that. It's a nice idea, but I've found that sometimes it still shows downloads that don't apply to your system and sometimes HIDES downloads that DO apply. A BIOS update would be applicable to every hardware configuration of the XPS 15 9500, so it doesn't really make sense to hide that download based on any XPS 15 9500 Service Tag, and to my knowledge the Service Tag just (supposedly) takes into account the hardware in your system. It doesn't actually look to see what BIOS release you're running. If you want something like that, then install the Dell Update application rather than using the Dell Support site.
Also, never post your Service Tag on a public forum. At a minimum, it could be used to file fraudulent ownership transfer forms on your system, which can make it harder for you to prove ownership and get warranty support.

According to your Dell Product Support page (XPS 9550), the latest BIOS version is 1.9.1

The Trusted Device Agent (Trusted Device Security) status is Optional, therefore I would not worry about installing it onto the computer. Please read Importance in the link below, hopefully it will be a help to you.
