Installing additional SSD on Dell XPS 13 (9350)

Hi,

I have Dell XPS 13 (9350) with 256GB Samsung SSD, 2015 Model.

I want to install additional SSD using my Samsung 850 EVO 1TB mSATA SSD rather than upgrading it just to save some cost.

Is it possible to do so without interupting the original SSD? If yes, is any additional adapters or connections I have to install/ buy? Any procedures how to do it?

PLEASE HELP. Thank you in advance.

Building on ejn63's correct answer above, the XPS 13 doesn't even have an mSATA connector to begin with.  It uses an M.2 connector for storage, which supports both M.2 SATA and M.2 NVMe SSDs.  You might find mSATA to M.2 adapter brackets, but whether the system cover will still be able to close as a result of the overall thickness of that solution would be an open question, and again you'd have to replace the existing SSD.

No -- there's no connector for a second drive.  It's either replace the drive or add an external - not internal.
