Lag with bluetooth devices
Hello,
I am experiencing a small lag on my X P S 15 9550 when using a variety of Bluetooth devices. I got a Logitech M535 Bluetooth mouse. The mouse appears to work well (no noticeable lag) for a period of time (a couple of minutes), then it starts lagging a bit. The connection is not smooth or fast enough to get a smooth movement of the pointer, the pointer is lagging behind the actual physical movement of the mouse. This is happening both on Windows 10 and Fedora Linux 34.
I also tried using a pair of Bluetooth speakers. X e n e o brand. The sound lags just a little behind the video. Maybe a second or less, but it is still noticeable. This also happens on Windows and Linux.
I am baffled because this happens in both Linux and Windows. I tried updating the Windows driver. I think I have the most updated driver. Is it possible to update some kind of firmware on this device (listed as DW1830 3x3 802.11ac 2.4/5GHz + Bluetooth 4.1 in my specs) in such a way that would affect multiple operating systems?
Any ideas that might help?
thanks a lot,
