Laptop keeps going into Automatic Repair and doesn't boot

My Dell XPS 13 9360 suddenly started going into automatic repair. However none of the repair options work as I end up getting an error that says

"You need to sign in as an administrator to continue, but there aren't any administrator accounts on this PC"

I've even tried creating a bootable disk but the system does not boot using that device. Get's stuck at the Dell Logo screen itself.
